What is Brass?
BRASS enhances the lives of people with disabilities through adaptive snow sports and recreational opportunities.
Blue Ridge Adaptive Snow Sports, Inc. (BRASS), a chapter of Disabled Sports USA, is a non-profit [501(c)(3)] organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of people with disabilities through adaptive snow sports and recreational opportunities. The organization is led and run by volunteers dedicated to providing an exciting experience for the students. Adaptive snow sports allows people with disabilities to enjoy the freedom of movement and the outdoors with the aid of special equipment and instructors trained for each disability. Sports and recreation are significant factors in enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities.
